Screen on the Green, Washington’s most famous outdoor movie series, kicks off on July 16 with Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid and will include three other movies running through August 6. The full schedule is below:
Monday, July 16th: Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid
Wednesday, July 25th: It Happened One Night (Note weekday change!)
Monday, July 30th: From Here to Eternity
Monday, August 6th: Psycho
As with every year, the movies will be shown at sunset, and seating is available between Seventh and 12th Streets NW on the National Mall.
Don’t forget the many other outdoor movie offerings around D.C. this summer. NoMa’s Wednesday night movies are all apocalypse-themed (this week it’s Shaun of the Dead), while the Capitol Riverfront’s Thursday offerings are more adventurous (this week, National Treasure). All the options in D.C., Virginia and Maryland are here.
