Photo by Mr. T in DC>> Things are still broiling at the University of Virginia over the ouster of President Teresa Sullivan. The Post reports that interim President Carl Zeithani, who was named earlier this week to take over for Sullivan in mid-August, is worried that the campus, which overwhelmingly supports Sullivan, will see him as part of a conspiracy. But Sullivan might be able to come back if if the uprising by faculty, students and university administrators can compel the resignation of Rector Helen E. Dragas, the head of U.Va.’s Board of Visitors who orchestrated Sullivan’s removal last week.
>> Loudoun County wants more time to decide whether or not it will opt out of Metrorail’s Silverline. But, WAMU reports, the Metropolitan Washington Airports Authority says no more dickering around. The county has to make up its mind by July 4.
>> With a new documentary about the seminal D.C. punk band set to play tonight at Silverdocs, Bad Brains—specifically its enigmatic frontman H.R.—is the focus of this week’s City Paper.
