OUTDOOR MOVIE: Friday Night is Election Night at the Rosslyn Outdoor FIlm Festival (1300 Lee Highway Arlington VA). Tonight’s screening is the late-90s Nixon flick Dick, starring Kirsten Dunst and Michelle Williams. The movie starts at dusk. Free.

JAZZ: Jazz in the Garden at the National Gallery of Art’s Scuplture Garden continues tonight with jazz vocalist George V. Johnson Jr. 5:00-8:30 p.m. Free.

CANCELLED BOOK SIGNING: If you heard that R. Kelly would be signing copies of his book Soulacoaster: The Diary of Me at the Union Station Barnes and Noble Saturday, this event has been cancelled.

YOGURT-EATING CONTEST: Mr. Yogato in Dupont (1515 17th Street NW) celebrates its 4th birthday Saturday with a Yogato Stuff-tato Eating Contest. There will be prizes from Space X and Tesla Motors, face-painting, acapella, and surprises. All who attend will receive free bottled water (to beat the heat). 3:00-3:30 p.m. Free.

MOVIE: It’s going to be too hot to go outside tomorrow, so go to Artisphere (1101 Wilson Boulevard Arlington VA) and watch Muppets in Space. 2:30 p.m. $6.

BURLESQUE & SIDESHOW: You know what’s great to do when it’s too hot outside? Take your clothes off. The burlesque dancers taking part in the Ooh La La Belly Dance & Sideshow Revue have the right idea at the Montserrat House (2016 9th Street NW) Saturday. BEER: Port City Brewing Company (3950 Wheeler Avenue Alexandria VA) is hosting a Port City Pint Party on Sunday to celebrate the re-opening of their Tasting Room after renovations. There will be live music by Justin Trawick from 2:00-4:00 p.m. and the Big Cheese Truck at the curb. 12:00-6:00 p.m. A tour and full tasting flight is $7.

MUSIC: Black Clouds play the Black Cat (1811 14th Street NW) this Sunday with Gunny Sack and Torild. 8:00 p.m. $8.
