If you’ve never been to the Stadium Club, the fancy (and infamous) strip club in the Northeast neighborhood of Langdon, you might not have to do much more than turn on your TV soon to catch a glimpse of what it’s like. The Root reports that the club is the focus of a new reality show:

The venue is set to be front and center of a reality show called “Strip Club Queens.” The show, to debut in the fall, will be in the tradition of years of female-dominated reality shows including Real Housewives, Basketball Wives and even Mob Wives. But for this new drama, the main characters will be none other than D.C. dancers.

“You’re not going to see a bunch of fighting,” says Delmond Newton, the show’s creator. “You’re really going to be able to say, ‘Now I know why girls strip.’”

The show will follow one woman’s struggle to open a salon, the life of a recovering addict and one dancer who supports her boyfriend, mom and baby while living in a trailer park. In total, five strippers and one waitress from Stadium Club will be featured on the show.

The producers say that a “major network” has picked up the show, but they won’t specify exactly which one. The Post guesses VH-1, but I’d put my money on Spike.
