Dupont Circle’s drunk-food quotient is increasing today, with the opening of Taylor Gourmet’s newest sandwich shop at 19th and M streets NW. The new location, the growing sandwich company’s fifth, opened at 8 a.m. with Taylor’s menu of breakfast hoagies.

The breakfast menu was previously available only at Taylor’s shop on 14th Street and then only on the weekends. Not so at the Dupont Circle location (1200 19th Street NW), which will be serving egg-filled rolls every day; complementary cup of coffee included.

And even if Taylor has long since abandoned its founding practice of importing its daily bread supply from Philadelphia, the new shop features, at least, an aesthetic nod to the City of Brotherly Love, featuring a mural of LOVE Park composed of 15 panels by local artists.
