CRAFTS: Feeling crafty after yesterday? Head to the Renwick Gallery’s (1661 Pennsylvania Avenue NW) Handi-hour tonight for an evening of crafting and craft beers. 5:30-8:00 p.m. $20 (includes 2 drink tickets, all you can craft, and snacks).

BOURBON: Tom Bulleit, founder of Bulleit Bourbon, comes to Smith Commons (1245 H Street NE) this evening for a meet and greet, bourbon and rye tasting, and an “intimate conversation about the virtues of whisky.” 5:00-9:00 p.m. No cover charge, but RSVP requested.

OUTDOOR MOVIE: NoMa Summer Screen’s series of end of the world movies at Loree Grand Field (Second and L streets NE) continues tonight with Red Dawn. 7:00 p.m. Free.

FOOD & DRINK: Nom on pork shoulder, spicy barbeque, ribs, chow-chow, dilly beans, trotter mac and cheese, tomato salad, hot dogs, pecan pies and red velvet cakes at Jackson 20’s (480 King Street Alexandria VA) Pig-A-Palooza on the patio this evening.
