Metro experienced another “systemwide computer issue” early this morning. “It happened shortly after 2 p.m. Saturday for a half hour. Then the problem occurred again early Sunday, from about 12:30 a.m. to 1 a.m.” [WTOP]

The national women basketball team hosted a clinic for U.S. military members’ daughters at DC Armory. “The hour-long session was part of USA Basketball’s Hoops for Troops program, a way of showing appreciation for members of the military and promoting national pride ahead of the 2012 Olympics.” [The Post]

A man was struck by a vehicle Saturday morning near Farragut Square. “Investigators say the incident occurred at around 4 a.m. at the intersection of 19th Street and K Street Northwest. It is not clear what caused the accident, though police say it was not a hit-and-run incident.” [NBC4]

The Maryland General Assembly is expected to vote on whether to expand casino gambling in a special session next week. “Gov. Martin O’Malley is expected to meet privately with leaders from Montgomery and Prince George’s Counties, and the city of Baltimore, as well as with legislative leaders in a separate get-together, in hopes of finding an as yet elusive consensus on the issue.” [WAMU]
