ART:Sex, Drugs & Rock n Roll” is a pop-up art exhibit, affiliated with the International AIDS Conference in town this week, that explores “the physical, psychological and socioeconomic impact of sex work and drug use on individuals, families and communities.” Be a part of the exhibit’s opening reception in the downstairs section of Iron Horse Taproom (507 7th Street NW) this evening. There will be free brews from Underdog and Public Ale and other goodies. Proceeds from this event will be donated to HIPS (Helping Individual Prostitutes to Survive). 6:00-9:00 p.m. Tickets: $20 in advance, $25 at the door.

THEATER: Performers from Theater Breaking Through Barriers, which is “dedicated to advancing actors and writers with disabilities and changing the image of people with disabilities from dependence to independence,” take to the Kennedy Center Millennium Stage (2700 F Street NW) tonight. 6:00 p.m. Free.

BEER: The first event in Food, Wine & Co. (7272 Wisconsin Avenue Bethesda MD) new “Beer Talk” series, features Oskar Blues. Learn about Oskar Blues Brewery beers by enjoying them alongside a number of paired dishes, including pork belly, BBQ beef brisket on brioche, tater tots with Dale’s Pale Ale mayo, Yella Pils” marinated salmon, and crispy spicy fried pickles. 6:00-8:00 p.m. $50 includes beer, food, and an Oscar Blues glass to keep.

OUTDOOR MOVIE: Bethesda Outdoor Movies (corner of Norfolk and Auburn Avenues Bethesda, MD) kicks off 5 consecutive nights of outdoor films with a screening of Stand By Me tonight. The rest of the lineup includes Vertigo tomorrow, The Muppets on Thursday, Crazy, Stupid Love on Friday, and Hugo on Saturday. 9:00 p.m. Free.
