The Portland, Ore. experimental-pop duo AU (pronounced “AY-you”) is coming to Black Cat tomorrow, bringing with them incredibly intricate tunes that sound like they were recorded on another planet. Today’s song of the day “OJ” off the band’s third album Both Lights, is a post-Animal Collective freak-out that is entirely danceable thanks to Dana Valatka’s spastic drumming and Luke Wyland’s cut-up sound collage.
