Going to the art gallery and we’re gonna get married … and then get divorced.
Artist Kathryn Cornelius did something similar Saturday. Except she did the marriage and divorce cycle seven times at the gallery.
In her Save the Date performance, Cornelius, wearing a white wedding gown, married and divorced a suitor (both men and women) each hour.
According to WJLA’s slideshow, the process included a wedding ceremony in front of the art gallery, a reception with cake and dancing, the divorce proceedings and then Cornelius running away with Whitesnake’s “Here I Go Again” in the background.
