FOOD & DRINK: Pair up Cheese and Oxbow Beer at Meridian Pint (3400 11th Street NW) tonight. Cheeses are to be determined, but the beers lined up for the evening include Oxbow Farmhouse Pale Ale, Oxbow Freestyle #6 (Dry Hopped American Saison), Oxbow Freestyle #7 (Belgian Stout), Oxbow Funkhaus Pale Ale, Oxbow Sasuga Saison, and Oxbow Space Cowboy Country Ale. 6:30 p.m. Tickets: $45.

>> In conjunction with DC Beer Week, Union Pub (201 Massachusetts Avenue NE) will be hosting a series of tap takeovers this week, starting with 10 beers from Devil’s Backbone, and complimentary appetizers, tonight. On Tuesday they’re featuring an Old Dominion Firkin tapping and Victory Brewing tap takeover, on Wednesday Starr Hill brewers will be on hand for their tap takeover, on Thursday it’s Great Lakes brews, followed by Goose Island on Friday, and Widmer the rest of the weekend.

BENEFIT: Tonight, GiveWell DC will donate 15% of the total dining dollars collected at five Eat Well DC restaurants (Logan Tavern, Commissary, Grillfish, The Heights, and The Pigs) to City Dogs Rescue. 5:30 to 10 p.m.

MUSIC: Harry & The Potters play the Black Cat (1811 14th Street NW) tonight with the Potter Puppet Pals. 7 p.m. $15.

OUTDOOR MOVIES: Enjoy “Movies by Moonlight,” with a screening of Night at the Museum at Lincoln Park (13th and East Capitol Streets SE). This event is a collaboration of National Park Service, the DC Department of Parks and Recreation, and Councilmember Tommy Wells (D-Ward 6). 8:45 p.m. Free.
