According to the parent, players hired prostitutes from a call service in North Carolina, and some engaged in sexual activities with those prostitutes in a hotel room. According to the two people with knowledge of the situation, the incident occurred at 5 a.m. on Saturday morning after DeMatha’s Friday night game.
According to the report, the players waited until the last room check at 4:00 a.m. to sneak in the prostitutes. Some 18 adult chaperones were on the trip.
The players for the Hyattsville-based sports powerhouse haven’t only been booted from the team, though—two have withdrawn from school, two could be suspended and a fifth faces a disciplinary hearing today. None of the five players were starters for the football team.
