DCist has more swimming animals featured on this weekend’s Photo of the Day. This time, the pool has gone to the dogs. Caroline Angelo contributed a few shots to our Flickr pool, including this one from yesterday’s DC Department of Parks and Recreation (DPR) Doggie Day Swim.

For four years, DPR has invited dog owners to bring their canines to swim at a couple public pools for one day before the city closes them for the season.
