>> The head of D.C.’s tax appraisal office could be in a heap of legal trouble with a lawsuit filed by his subordinates from his last job as a senior official in the tax office in Fulton County, Ga., the Post reports. The lawsuit claims that George forced employees to lower the assessments on properties throughout Atlanta in order to get developers more favorable tax bills. Last month, the Post reported that George has been accused of doing the same thing since taking over D.C.’s appraisal bureau last year.
