>> The “Sneaker Pimps” tour is putting a few of hip-hop’s more buzzed-about underground rappers on the same bill with sets by Joey Bada$$, Flatbush Zombies and Skyzoo. It all goes down at the Fillmore. $20-$25 in advance. 7 p.m.

>> “Axel F.” retakes its rightful position at Liv as DJs Jahsonic, Stylus and Adrian Loving celebrate this month’s theme exploring the intersection of 1980s’ jheri curl-wearing athletes and 1980s’ jheri curl-wearing musicians, “The Players Club.” $5 before midnight / $10 after midnight. 10 p.m.

Sunday:
>> Having been responsible for a few of hip-hop’s most recognizable songs in the early 1990s, like “Tennessee” and “People Everyday,” Arrested Development has a place in music history.
