Over at City Desk, Will Sommer notes that at this point, just about everyone has said their piece about the death yesterday morning of the National Zoo’s six-day-old giant panda cub.
Apparently, that includes Dave Brockie, better known as Oderus Ungerus, the lead singer of Richmond-based horror thrash rockers Gwar. In a tweet, Brockie expressed his dismay about the death of the little panda cub, but lamented that it was probably destined to a life of zoological servitude:
Saddened by suuden death of tiny baby panda, born into a life of slavery at death-zoo in D.C.

Musicians who wear big, scary costumes have feelings, too.
