>> D.C. Council member Michael A. Brown (I-At Large) told his former campaign treasurer to take payments from the campaign’s account and hide the payments, the treasurer’s lawyer tells the Post. That accusation seems to run counter to Brown’s approach to his campaign finances; in July he announced that money had been stolen from his campaign’s coffers and that he would take direct control of finances.
>> Pepco’s unionized employees are set to vote tomorrow on whether to accept a new labor contract with the power company or go on strike, WAMU reports.
