A federal judge ruled Friday that Metro must now display controversial anti-Muslim ads. “Metro officials had delayed putting up the ads up because of the violent reaction in the Middle East to the video the ‘Innocence of Muslims,’ which denigrated the prophet Muhammad.” [AP]

A former DC worker resigned after being pressured to keep a controversial property tax audit in a format that would exempt the documents from public disclosure. “‘I felt pressure to leave reports in draft,’ said DiVello, 65, who had been in the job for two years. ‘I said that’s a non-starter. My ethics don’t allow me to do that. Put the audits out there. Let the people know . . . if there’s something wrong.'” [The Post]

Police in Maryland tracked down two burglary suspects using stolen Ravens tickets. “In a Sept. 24 burglary in Ellicott City, police say the pair stole Baltimore Ravens tickets. Detectives went to the Ravens game three days later, police say, and a person using one of the tickets said a woman came into his sports memorabilia shop to sell them. [WTOP]
