Moon Duo is a San Francisco outfit made up of Sanae Yamada and Ripley Johnson, also of Wooden Shijips. The band makes kraut-rock psychedelic jams that sound like they are from another time. Today’s song of the day, “Sleepwalker,” is the band’s first single from its just-released new album Circles. The track has a hypnotic guitar backbone with hushed vocals and a buzzing sitar.
