>> One of the year’s most highly-regarded albums came from jazz pianist Robert Glasper. Through his Robert Glasper Experiment, he brought his jazz grounding together with his hip-hop and R&B sensibilities to produce Black Radio. Glasper and his Experiment cohort will be at the Birchmere. $35. 7:30 p.m.

>> Hailing from Cincinnati, singer/songwriter Mateo has worked with big names during his short time on the scene. His first single, “Say It’s So”, featured co-production from Swizz Beatz and backing vocals from Swizz’s wife, Alicia Keys. He’ll be at DC9 along with Howard student Amanda Badze and Kuf Knotz. $10 in advance / $12 at the door. 8:30 p.m.

Saturday:
>> It’s been five years since the “Wonder-Full” party first came to D.C. DJ Spinna brings the celebration of Stevie Wonder songs, remixes and cover tunes to Liv where DJ Underdog will provide the opening set. $15 in advance / $20 day of. 10 p.m.

>> Fat Trel reps D.C. but has built a buzz nationwide due to viral videos and his mixtape, Nightmare On E Street. He’ll be joined on the U Street Music Hall stage by The Slutty Boyz, Chris Barz, Light Show, Lyriciss, Big Lean, Sock The Rapper, HiDefinite, REDC and DJ Mista Selecta. $20. 7 p.m.

Monday:
>> “Wind Me Up, Chuck! Mondays” has another episode to celebrate the late, great go-go pioneer’s legacy. This time, local hero Raheem DeVaughn will perform with the Chuck Brown Band at the Howard Theatre. $30 in advance / $35 at the door. 8 p.m.
