Most trees around the D.C. area are still a deep shade of green, but as we get deeper into fall, some of them are starting to turn. The contributing photographer known as Synapped stumbled upon a tree that has faded to a hazy goldenrod. Not sure exactly where this picture was snapped, but it’s a sure sign that harvest time is nearing. (EXIF)
