Remember that dumbass who was caught on video last week while driving his car across Logan Circle? Well, so do the U.S. Park Police. As the park at Logan Circle is under the jurisdiction of the National Park Service, the Park Police are now looking for information about the person who drove onto the grass and proceeded to motor across to the other side of the circle before exiting onto the street.

The video appeared on YouTube on October 8; DCist, The Washington Post and Prince of Petworth took note of it the following day. In the clip, the driver is seen parking the car, checking something in the trunk, then returning to the vehicle to drive off.

Needless to say, the whole thing is very illegal, and now the Park Police want to find out who the driver was, because he or she could be facing charges ranging from destruction of property to leaving the scene of an accident.

Anyone with information about this idiot’s Columbus Day joyride through Logan Circle being asked to contact Detective Sgt. Todd Reid of the Park Police’s Major Crimes Unit at (202) 610-8734.

In case you need to jog your memory, or you just want an excuse to swear at your computer because you’re watching someone behave like a complete jackass, here’s the video again:
