2012 is the year punk broke again. While modern pop music flirts with synthesizers and processed vocals, many in the indie scene have circled back to the young, loud and snotty sound of punk, as well as its more aggressive brother, hardcore. Then there are bands like OFF!, the punk supergroup fronted by Black Flag/Circle Jerks alum (and punk legend) Keith Morris, that isn’t returning to form because they never left the path. OFF! will be back in town tonight at the Black Cat, so take a listen to today’s very short song of the day, “Wrong.”
OFF! plays tonight with The Spits and Double Negative at the Black Cat. Tickets are $17 (so about a dollar a minute for OFF!’s set.)
