LADIES ARM WRESTLING: Join the D.C. Lady Arm Wrestlers tonight at Penn Social (801 E Street NW) for the bout of the century. CORCORAN COMMUNITY DAY: Gather, create, and be inspired at this day-long celebration of art and creativity designed for the community. Try your hand at printmaking, ceramics, and bookbinding during art-making workshops, participate in hands-on pottery wheel and papermaking demonstrations, and shop at the Corcoran’s Community Art Fair (500 17th Street NW), featuring fine arts and crafts made by D.C.-area artists. 10 a.m.-3 p.m. Free.

HOME MOVIES: What hidden treasures lie in your old home movies? Share your films (or just watch everyone else’s), see films from local institutions, learn how to save them for future generations, and play Home Movie Day bingo at the National Building Museum today. AT-LARGE DEBATE: Early voting in D.C. starts Monday, so take some time to get to know the men and women who want to win two At-Large seats to the D.C. Council. Incumbents Michael Brown (I-At Large) and Vincent Orange (D-Ward 5) will join challengers David Grosso and Mary Brooks Beatty for a debate at the Pryzbyla Center at Catholic University (620 Michigan Avenue NE) from 3-4:30 p.m. Free.

DRINK FOR A CAUSE: We told you about Cause, the new “philanthropub” in Shaw that will be donating all of its profits to charity, earlier this week. Get a sneak peek at the sleek new bar and restaurant tonight before it opens on Wednesday. 8 p.m. Tickets are $50.

ANOTHER DEBATE: If you missed Saturday’s debate, the D.C. chapter of Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority is hosting At-Large, Council Chair and Ward 4 contenders for debate and discussion on the issues at the Xi Omega Center (4411 14th Street NW). 4:30-7 p.m. Free.

RENAISSANCE FESTIVAL: This weekend is your final chance to hit the Maryland Renaissance Festival (1821 Crownsville Road, Annapolis, MD) before it packs up the corsets, swords, and turkey legs for the season. 10 a.m.-7 p.m. $10-$22.

CYCLOCROSS: You’ll never have as much fun watching cyclists in spandex as you will at DCCX, the annual cyclocross race—a mix of road and mountain biking—that takes place on the grounds of the Armed Forces Retirement Home (Rock Creek Church Road NW & Randolph Street NW). Racing starts at 8:30 a.m. and runs through 5 p.m.
