Amanda Warner got her start in the music business as a songwriter for hire, but she dreamed of bigger and brighter things. Teaming up with Peter Wade, the duo became the party-starters known as MNDR. MNDR just released its debut record Feed Me Diamonds, after a slew of singles and their first EP, E.P.E., garnering the duo the attention of tastemakers like Mark Ronson. MNDR makes its return to this area opening for Shiny Toy Gun at an almost sold-out rescheduled show this Sunday, so check out the track “#1 In Heaven,” a lector pop track inspired by Patty Herst.
MNDR plays with Shiny Toy Guns and COLOURMUSIC at the Rock and Roll Hotel this Sunday, November 4th. Tickets are $17 and almost gone (all tickets purchased for the 10/29 date will be honored)
