On November 2, 2012, the Western District Tactical Narcotics Team and Tactical Patrol Unit with the assistance of Tactical Officers from the Special Operations Section executed a search and seizure warrant at 7506 Gleneagle Drive in Jessup.

This search and seizure warrant was a result of an investigation into controlled dangerous substance trafficking crimes taking place the residence. Detectives seized approximately 159 grams of kind bud marijuana with an estimated street value of $3,180. Other items seized included drug paraphernalia, $792 in U.S. currency and other unknown substances that have been sent to the Anne Arundel County Police Department’s Crime Lab for analysis.

Additionally, a three foot American Alligator was located on the premises. Animal Control was contacted and responded to the residence as a result of private residents not being allowed to possess an alligator in a residence. The American Alligator, preliminarily found to be in good health, was initially transported to Animal Control and was later transported to an appropriate facility for exotic animals.
