A sticker from Alexandria. Far too much going on here.

What’s the best part of voting? The feeling that you’re participating in an important civic duty. What’s the second-best part? The “I Voted” sticker, of course. Like a badge of honor, proud voters wear the stickers to tell everyone else that they too took part in the democratic process.

Not all stickers are created equal, of course. A number of local jurisdictions—D.C. and Montgomery County, for example—went for the simple oval-shaped sticker with a U.S. flag. Others, though, opted for circular stickers; Arlington has a large flag and the all-important geographic identifier, for one. Of the ones we’ve seen so far, only Montgomery County has both “I Voted” and “Yo Voté,” while Prince William County includes a nifty county map in the background. Maybe the worst so far is Alexandria’s, which is simply far too busy for its own good.

If you’ve got other “I Voted” stickers to share, send them along!
