WOODWARD’S WORDS: As we told you last week, Bob Woodward will be speaking about his most recent book, The Price of Politics, tonight at the Historic Sixth and I Synagogue (600 I Street NW). Tickets are $12, or you can get two free tickets and a copy of the book for $30. 7 p.m.

POST-ELECTION PUNDITRY: The election is over and the people have spoken, but what exactly did they say? Join politicos, pundits and policymakers like NPR’s Mara Liasson and former Sen. Chuck Hagel (R-Neb.) at “The People Have Spoken: Time to Face the Facts,” where participants will compose an agenda for change for the country’s new—and old—leaders. The discussion will take place at the Jack Morton Auditorium (805 21st Street NW); doors open at 6:30 p.m. Free, but save yourself a spot here.

TRIVIA FOR A CAUSE: Head over to Acre 121 right next to the Columbia Heights Metro station tonight for trivia that will benefit cystic fibrosis research and youth fitness. For $10 you can play, while for $20 you get to play and get a drink ticket and raffle ticket. The winning team—four to 10 people—gets $50 towards bar tab and a $40 Uber voucher. 8:30 p.m.

FOTOWEEK: FotoWeek D.C. continues through the week, so check here for all the events you might want to catch at any of the eight downtown locations.
