Israel and Hamas are trading rockets and mortar fire in Gaza, and in D.C., that means supporters of both Israel and the Palestinian people are rallying outside the White House. Maybe 100 people marched outside the White House last night in support of Gaza, urging President Obama to pressure Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu to restore a tenuous ceasefire between the two sides. The pro-Palestinian demonstrators were eventually joined by pro-Israel marchers, who shrouded themselves in the blue-and-white banner of the Jewish state.
