Naomi Punk is a band from a different time. Their music sounds as if it was written twenty years ago, but everything was recorded last year. The band’s 2012 debut album The Feeling is being re-released tomorrow on Captured Track,s and the band are playing tonight at the Black Cat as part of a very short tour. Today’s song “Voodoo Trust” is a pop song hidden within angular guitar blasts and obscured vocals.
