For the second time in as many years, President Obama marked Small Business Saturday with a trip to a local bookstore.
While last year he wandered out to Kramerbooks in Dupont Circle, on Saturday he was joined by daughters Sasha and Malia for a trip to One More Page Books in Arlington, where he purchased 15 children’s books.
“We’re totally overwhelmed and thrilled by President Obama’s visit. He and his daughters could not have been more gracious,” the store’s owners wrote on their Facebook page.
Last Wednesday, the first family spent the afternoon volunteering at a Capital Area Food Bank distribution center in Northeast D.C.
