Step aside, President Obama—Neil Patrick Harris is our new culinary celebrity critic.
Doogie Howser, M.D.—he’s in town to host the National Christmas Tree Lighting this evening—went on something of an eating tour of D.C. yesterday, stopping at Graffiato, Toki Underground and Izakaya Seki before calling it a night.
In the process, he had nothing but good things to say. Graffiato had the “best brussels sprouts I’ve ever eaten,” while Toki Underground’s ramen was “utterly delicious” and Izakaya Seki featured a “delicious, true Japanese meal” and “great Sake.”
Harris’ tweets are below.

Final stop on my DC Dining train: Izakaya Seki. Delicious, true Japanese meal served by a father/daughter duo. Great sake, too. ‘Night.
