>> Elected officials in Prince George’s County are going to try to join their neighbors next year in imposing a five-cent fee on plastic bags, reports the Washington Times. >> A majority of the D.C. jobs created over the last five years have gone to non-residents, reports the Examiner. An analysis by the D.C. CFO found that of 37,400 jobs created between the end of 2007 and September 2012, 62.4 percent went to people not living in the city. Experts say that the jobs have gone to non-residents because education and workforce development programs are further along around D.C. than they are in the city.
