Tonight’s options include Frankenweenie (4:30 p.m., $2), Searching for Sugar Man (7:30 p.m., $2), and Seven Psychopaths (9:50 p.m., $2). Later this week they’ll be showing Looper and Beasts of the Southern Wild.
HOLIDAY HAPPY HOUR: Living Social welcomes Santa to their headquarters (918 F Street NW) tonight for an Egg Nog Happy Hour. Come out and have a drink, participate in their Twitter photo classic, and kick back with some Christmas classics. 6:00 p.m. Tickets: $9 (includes one egg nog cocktail).

WEDNESDAY: Looking for the perfect gift for the punk, indie, or metal rocker in your life? Stop by the Rock-n-Shop rock and roll garage sale at the Black Cat (1811 14th Street NW) this Wednesday for records, t-shirts, and other awesomeness. 8:00 p.m. Free.
THURSDAY: Head to Meridian Pint (3400 11th Street NW) this Thursday for the New Belgium Holiday Fundraiser, where for every New Belgium beer on draft you buy, $1 will be donated to Common Good City Farm (CGCF). In addition, 25% of all food sales for the night will be donated to CGCF as well.
FRIDAY: In honor of the end of the world this Saturday, as foretold by the Mayans, Oyamel (401 7th St NW) is celebrating the evening before by serving up apocalyptic cocktails and special dishes like Carne Apache de Corazon de Venado, a “finely chopped venison heart with red onion, pickled nopal, cilantro and pasilla de Oaxaca Chile oil.”
