In remembrance of the Newtown massacre, which happened a week ago today, bells on the Washington National Cathedral and Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception will toll 26 times—the number of people killed at Sandy Hook Elementary—starting at 9:30 a.m. President Obama will also observe a moment of silence at the White House at that time.

Correction: The bells tolled 28 times, not 26.
