Long weekend!

Well, if you work for either the D.C. government, federal government or anyone who follows those schedules. Mayor Vince Gray gave D.C. employees the good news earlier this week, while President Obama followed up today by signing an executive order giving federal workers the day before Christmas off.

For next week, the D.C. Department of Public Works announced that trash will still be picked up on Monday, though not on Tuesday, and that the usual parking enforcement grinches will be off until Wednesday, December 26.
