There’s a new superlative that D.C. residents can take pride in. Well, if not pride, certainly some kind of pleasure.

According to statistics released by Pornhub.com, a video library of carnal features, D.C. residents led the nation in the number of pornographic videos watched per capita. And the District led by a big, gaping margin of nearly twice as much as the second-horniest subdivision of the United States.

On average, D.C. residents watched an average 14.18 sexy videos in 2012. Massachusetts came in a distant second, with the typical Bay Stater viewing 7.52 videos during the course of the year.

Granted, these statistics come only from Pornhub, one of scores—hundreds, maybe?—of sites that offer YouTube-like access to raunchy material. The numbers, thankfully, are available via the much-more-SFW (usually) BuzzFeed.
