Police are looking for a suspect who allegedly robbed two banks in Northwest D.C. today and is still at large. Branches of PNC Bank and Bank of America were hit earlier this morning by a suspect described as a hispanic female with curly hair and a bandage on her face.

The first robbery occurred about 9:16 a.m. at the PNC Bank at 4249 Wisconsin Avenue NW. In that incident, the suspect was reported wearing all black clothing, including a black scarf.

The second robbery happened not long after, about 9:33 a.m., at the Bank of America at 3401 Connecticut Avenue NW, about 1.5 miles from the first targeted bank. At that scene, the suspect was said to be wearing a puffy black jacket and sunglasses.

In both cases, the suspect made off with an unknown amount of money, Officer Tisha Gant, a Metropolitan Police Department spokeswoman, says. No one was reported injured in either robbery.
