On Saturday, scads of barely clad do-gooders sprinted around Capitol Hill in Cupid’s Undie Run, an annual charity event that mixes raising money for pediatric medicine with getting next-to-naked.
Participants in this year’s fleshy jog showed off their Valentine’s Day-colored skivvies, shamelessly struck poses, and were even joined by some underwear-sporting Washington Nationals Racing Presidents. Our photographer, Kevin Carroll, caught glimpses of Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, and Roosevelt, though Skinny Taft was no where to be found. The runners stopped to do push-ups in intersections, showed off their chilly bodies, and, most importantly, raised money for children’s tumor research.
