Sen. Marco Rubio of Florida was given the chance to offer the Republican Party’s response to President Obama’s State of the Union. However, his remarks were overshadowed by his apparent dry mouth and his odd ducking to reach a small bottle of Poland Spring water! Watch it again and again:

It’s pretty insulting that Rubio is drinking Poland Spring when free D.C. tap water is totally available inside the U.S. Capitol. Also, you can fill up a big glass with tap water, as opposed to some eight-ounce shorty bottle.

And, FWIW, Rand Paul gave the other response to the State of the Union because the Republicans are really two parties.
