It’s certainly been cold enough the past few weeks, but no matter how chilly it gets in the D.C. area this winter, we’re getting very few visual reminders of winter other than barren plant ends like this. Some snow, perhaps? Nah. Capital Weather Gang says the huge blizzard that just pounded the midwest is going to fizzle out by the time it reaches the East Coast, leaving us with nothing more than a pelting of yucky sleet.
