Selkie, the National Zoo’s gray seal who before moving to the zoo worked for the U.S. Navy—Navy seal, get it?—looks kind of glum. Why? Maybe because the coming sequestration of the federal budget, including the Smithsonian, means that fewer people will be able to pay her a visit at the zoo’s American Trail exhibit. Bummer. (EXIF)
