>> The field of candidates to be the next home of the FBI is quite crowded, The Washington Post’s Capital Business blog reports. The General Services Administration received 35 bids from landowners, developers, and governments, including one submitted by Mayor Vince Gray that would have the bureau relocate to Poplar Point in Southeast D.C. By comparison, Loudon County offered eight possible locations.

>> The treatment allegedly suffered by two Howard University students pledging the Alpha Kappa Alpha sorority was “dehumanizing,” according to their lawsuit. Washington City Paper reports that among the charges are that the plaintiffs were made to use different doors than inducted sorority members, not eat in certain dining halls, and act as chauffeurs for the sorority’s sisters all while facing a raft of verbal harassement.

>> Some snowstorm that was yesterday, huh? Anyway the Capital Weather Gang, now referring to it as a “storm that shall remain nameless”—way to walk it back, guys—predicts that on the heels a wimpy storm is one more day of chilly air, followed by a warm weekend.
