BEER SCHOOL: The first of Bourbon Glover Park’s (2348 Wisconsin Ave NW) new Beer School sessions is tonight and it focuses on Fermentation & Yeast. The other classes in the series feature hops, malts, American craft beer, German beer styles, and Belgian beer styles. 7:30-9:00 p.m. $25 per class.

PHOTOGRAPHY: Clary Estes, a New Media Photojournalism Masters Candidate at the Corcoran College of Art and Design, spent a year photographing students at Stanton Elementary School in Anacostia. View these photos in a one-night exhibition at THEARC (1901 Mississippi Avenue SE) this evening. Prints of the photos and art made by the students will be sold at the event, with proceeds going to support the DC Scholars Education Prograand Stanton Elementary. 6:00 p.m. Free.
