>> Melbourne, Australia-based band Hiatus Kaiyote is barely two years-old but have gained a sizable following worldwide due to a big endorsement from British DJ/taste-maker supreme, Gilles Peterson. Mixing soul with electronic elements and a splash of indie-rock ethos, they’ll be putting on one of their first U.S. and post-SxSW shows at Liv. $10 in advance. 8 p.m.
