Deathfix, the D.C. supergroup of Rich Morel, Fugazi’s Brendan Canty, and the Medication’s Devin Ocampo and Mark Cisneros is one of the best new bands from the area in a while. The band’s recently released self-titled record is a mix of 90s rock and danceable tunes that is a combination of the group’s backgrounds. The band is playing at the Black Cat this Sunday and are not to be missed. Check out their track “Transmission” and I’m sure you’ll be hooked.
