Berlin house wizards Booka Shade have been making clubs go wild since 2002. Their unique take on house music has had critics buzzing, and tonight the band hits the 9:30 Club for a show that’s sure to be fun time. The group’s last LP, More!, was released in 2010 and the band is prepping a new full length set for release this year. To hold fans over, the group released a three-song EP as a free download. Today’s song of the day is the title track “Haleshop.” The head-nodder has a steady beat and midway through it gets a poppy hands-in-the-air moment thanks to a distorted vocal sample.
