In the grand scheme of crimes that take placed outside D.C. clubs, this is probably as harmless as it gets, courtesy of the Examiner:

A man called police early Sunday morning complaining that a woman assaulted him with a shoe at a nightclub on the District’s northeast side.

The complainant reported a physical altercation with a woman around 2 a.m. at Ibiza DC Nightclub on the 1200 block of First Street NE near the Noma Metro Station. The man told police that during the altercation the woman hit him in the head with her shoe.

The suspect is described as a 5-foot-2 black female weighing about 130 pounds.

No word on what type of shoe it was.
