>> Brooklyn-based Escort is a 17-member band that is known for their raucous live shows. They’ll be at the 9:30 Club. $25. 8 p.m.

Saturday:
>> He’s worked with the likes of Prince, Bobbi Humphrey and Quincy Jones during the course of his career. That’s a pretty impressive list and Tevin Campbell parlayed these endorsements into a series of hits in the early ’90s, including “Can We Talk” and “Just Ask Me To.” He’ll be at the Howard Theatre for an early evening show. $27.50 in advance / $32 at the door. 8 p.m.

>> Well, Oakland singer Keyshia Cole‘s latest press hasn’t been that great. Regardless, she’ll be at Warner Theatre for a night. $55-$65. 8 p.m.

>> Drummer/Producer/DJ Questlove of The Roots fame is spinning a late night set at the Howard Theatre. $17.50 in advance / $22.50 at the door. 11 p.m.
