Staff at the Wilson Building are using this humane trap to try and catch two birds stuck in the atrium. Photo by ranpuba
Remember those old cartoons where Wile E. Coyote would set up some comically obvious traps to try and trap the Road Runner? Yeah, well, staff at the Wilson Building are apparently up to the same, according to an email sent around yesterday on plans to catch two birds stuck in the building’s atrium:

Please be advised there are two birds flying in the atrium. We are working to capture the birds utilizing humane methods and release them outside. Please forward this information to all in your office who rely on you for building wide communication.
If there are any questions, please let us know.
The image above is one of the actual traps, taken yesterday. And yes, it certainly is more humane than the Acme-quality sticks of dynamite that the coyote would probably have put in there. (Meep meep!)
